First Day. [text/action for rocket base.]

[Keisuke's not really feeling up for too much talking, given his situation, but he feels the need to take care of some basic business between his Rocket training seminars, etc.]
I've already figured out that this isn't a dream. Though it may not seem normal, the universe itself makes too much sense for that. Knowing that doesn't solve my problem, though...
Why am I here? Is there a way to get back home so I can finish something I need to do?
...If anyone knows Atsuro Kihara, Midori Komaki, or any of their friends, I would appreciate it if you'd tell me. I can't be the only one here, after all.
K-T
[God, he hoped he wasn't the only one here.]

Date: 2012-04-24 12:06 am (UTC)I see. I don't suppose your city was placed under a lockdown and blackout, with a specific date set for destruction?
K-T
[text//filtered]
Date: 2012-04-24 12:37 am (UTC)A lockdown? No. The cities remain functioning until consumed by the Void.
[The Void is...exactly what it sounds like. A big void. There were more likely than not blackouts, but a setting a lockdown on only one city seemed to be troublesome.]

Date: 2012-04-24 12:47 am (UTC)[Time to change the questions up a bit.]
You've mentioned COMPs and Naoya's part in the demon summoning program. You also know Atsuro and I are demon tamers. Just how much of our situation do you know?

Date: 2012-04-24 01:03 am (UTC)[His definition of "functioning" probably isn't the one others from his world would agree with, but hey.]
What I have told you is all I know, I'm afraid.
[text//filtered]
Date: 2012-04-24 10:17 am (UTC)I see. Did you get your information from Atsuro, then?
K-T
[text//filtered]
Date: 2012-04-24 10:34 pm (UTC)Yes. Atsuro Kihara mentioned his use of the Demon Summoning Program and I inquired about his mentor afterwards. That is all.

Date: 2012-04-24 10:49 pm (UTC)Does Atsuro consider you a friend? Or was it simply an exchange of information?
K-T
[text//filtered]
Date: 2012-04-24 11:22 pm (UTC)It was at first an exchange of information, but now I don't know.
We have spoken some times, and I have received a "nickname" from him. Would that be enough for him to consider me a friend?
[As inhuman he was, he could feel a rather wide range of emotions, including fear. Fear of rejection especially, and his canon point is not helping either.
...Can you tell he's really bad at this "socializing and making friends" thing yet?]
[text//filtered]
Date: 2012-04-25 01:38 am (UTC)AlAnguished One...Keisuke pauses as he thinks about it.]
Atsuro is pretty fond of nicknames, so it's hard to say. I doubt he would have given you one if he considered you an enemy, or had some other negative relationship with you, though.
Do you consider him a friend?
K-T
[text//filtered]
Date: 2012-04-25 02:03 am (UTC)I suppose so, though I do not possess much experience with having friends.
[In other words, no he does not really have friends HOW DO THEY WORK? Not even counting Hiro, since he's...he's a complicated matter altogether.
This is foreveralone.jpg, the tag.][text//filtered]
Date: 2012-04-25 10:54 am (UTC)Do you have an opinion on the subject one way or another? If he didn't consider you a friend, would you care?
K-T
[All very important questions.]
[text//filtered]
Date: 2012-04-26 12:40 am (UTC)Yes.
[Demons and global calamities don't scare him, but rejection sort of does. Funny how that works.]

Date: 2012-04-28 12:17 am (UTC)Don't worry. I'm not the best at this type of thing either.

Date: 2012-04-30 02:25 am (UTC)[But he can't say it's all that bad. Their culture is the result of their choices, and their potential for freedom.]

Date: 2012-04-30 02:58 am (UTC)That is the result of free will, no?
[text//filtered]
Date: 2012-04-30 04:14 pm (UTC)Even societies without free will can be unique, but that certainly does help.
K-T

Date: 2012-05-02 02:32 am (UTC)[no free will
no...free...will...
this is a Big Deal to him.]
[text//filtered]
Date: 2012-05-02 06:21 pm (UTC)If there were to be a society without free will, it would be drastically different from any others, and so would be unique. Its customs and values would also be complex.
K-T
[text//filtered]
Date: 2012-05-05 08:05 pm (UTC)I see. Would you also say free will and culture are unrelated?
[text//filtered]
Date: 2012-05-06 03:10 am (UTC)Not at all. People shape their culture because of who they are and who they decide to be.
