[Keisuke's not really feeling up for too much talking, given his situation, but he feels the need to take care of some basic business between his Rocket training seminars, etc.]

I've already figured out that this isn't a dream. Though it may not seem normal, the universe itself makes too much sense for that. Knowing that doesn't solve my problem, though...

Why am I here? Is there a way to get back home so I can finish something I need to do?

...If anyone knows Atsuro Kihara, Midori Komaki, or any of their friends, I would appreciate it if you'd tell me. I can't be the only one here, after all.

[Normally, this sort of thing wouldn't warrant a reply, since he tends to just observe from the sidelines, but...they mentioned someone he knew. And he could assist, even if it was something as small as this. Why not?]

Atsuro Kihara is among us in Johto.

[It must be him. Who else would know his and Midori's names, while using that handle? It's almost too good to be true.

Johto brought one of his friends here again. But will they stay, or went home after a while? The world's rather whimsy about them.]

[Instead of answering his questions, Atsuro asks his own.]

As it is, a shaky smile of relief curls.

He thinks about what all to say--he has a lot of questions, and is bottling up a lot of ashamed feelings at the moment from being a Rocket--but in the end, decides to keep it simple.]

Johto is the name designated to this region. As for why you are here...I do not know. You must search for yourself the path you must walk.

[Though he can probably come up with a cause why people have been taken here, he couldn't find a reason, and it probably wouldn't make sense to the poor guy.]

I see. I'm afraid it's not one I'm exactly familiar with, but I guess I shouldn't really be surprised.

What if we received a path when we got here? Or perhaps it should be seen more as a 'starting point'...

Kihara-kun would be better equipped to tell you that, I believe — and he's still here, so I imagine he'll turn up to speak with you himself anytime now. Checking this network with high frequency gets to be a habit before long, here.

Though presumably, if she did leave Johto, then she's returned to whatever immediate circumstances she left upon arriving here. Rumor has it that we return to the moment of our departure as though we'd never been gone at all.

Pretty much. Or teleportations to another world the games was based of. Or created because the games come first and the multiple world theory pops in.
