Like Botis, she was also extremely loyal to her original trainer, the Anguished One, and has a strong code of honor regarding battle as well, as she's a graceful loser. Since she can easily pick up on her trainer's mood and feelings due to her psychic nature, she tends to be the one that tries to cheer him up whenever he starts feeling down. This has passed on to her treatment of Keisuke, though her bond with him is not as strong.

He's tried to adopt Pyro Jack as his own, but has so far been unsuccessful, being treated like a play toy instead.

Even without the chip implanted in him by the Rockets, he would be a complete bully. He decided to evolve himself on 06/07/12 by knocking a water stone off of a shelf in the Goldenrod department store. While Keisuke doesn't particularly like having him around, he still takes Bufu out for training in the hopes of getting rid of pent up aggression.

To avoid confusion, he refers to Jack Frost as simply 'Frost'. The Zorua seems to already have a fondness for the other fox, becoming even more shy around her. At first, he imitated his trainer, but Keisuke asked him to stop. Now Frost's main illusions are a younger, childhood version of the teen and a Vulpix.

Though Keisuke wasn't around when Midori was, he's grateful to have an opportunity for a connection through her pokemon.

She's on good terms with most of her trainer's team and likes to try and reach out to make friends.

Met when an egg from Yagyuu A MYSTERIOUS STRANGER hatched on 5/9/12 @ level 1. This Vulpix was quite the birthday surprise, being an anonymous gift from Yagyuu. He decided to name her after a certain demon before he knew her gender, though most of the time he now simply refers to her as 'Jack'. She doesn't seem to mind that it's a 'boy name'. Most of the time, Pyro Jack is either padding along after Keisuke or batting at Bilwis.

Met when an egg from Saber hatched on 6/21/12 @ level 1. Though less of a bully than Bufu, the Piplup tends to follow the other water-type around and copy him. He gets on Bufu's nerves, but doesn't seem to notice--or if he does, Yama doesn't care. Keisuke was a little hesitant when giving him the name 'Yama', but after seeing the bossy ways of the pokemon and the skewed ethics, he figured it was fitting.

Met when an egg from Atsuro hatched on 5/13/12 @ level 1. Zan was a birthday gift from Keisuke's friend Atsuro. Keisuke's plan was to have the two hatchlings grow up together so they would have a playmate, but Zan took a little longer to hatch than the Vulpix--and when he did hatch, he apparently didn't want anything to do with the other pokemon. He prefers to keep to himself, though he'll readily train if it's suggested.
